Burlington's 44th Annual Tree Lighting is Sunday, Dec. 7

Join in the celebration on the town common and a visit from Santa.

Residents are invited to celebrate with the Burlington Recreation Department, our neighbors, friends and family for the 44th annual holiday tree lighting, featuring entertainment, caroling and a visit from Santa. It’s a tradition not to be missed. The annual event kicks off at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7 on the town common.

Festivities will begin with Christmas music and entertainment 15 minutes prior to the tree lighting on Center Street in front of Town Hall. After a brief tree lighting ceremony, Santa will arrive in his sleigh on Center Street. Santa and Frosty the Snowmen will greet all the children, and candy canes will be distributed by Santa’s helpers.
