Conti: No Cohort Switching In Burlington Schools Until Mid-Year
Allowing November changes would have been too disruptive, the superintendent said Tuesday.
BURLINGTON, MA — Burlington families will not be able to switch learning cohorts in November, as initially planned, Superintendent Eric Conti told the School Committee, Tuesday.
School administrators concluded that allowing switches after the first quarter of the year would be too disruptive. Instead, switches between remote and hybrid cohorts will not be allowed until mid-year at the earliest.
"Any benefit we got rom relationships we're currently forming, we would lose," Conti said. "We'd almost have to redesign everything starting now."
