Democrats Outnumber Republicans in Burlington
When it comes to party enrollment, how does Burlington compare to other communities?

As we get ready to vote in tomorrow's primary, Patch takes a look at the numbers of Democrats and Republicans in Massachusetts.
We looked at current voter registration numbers compiled by the Massachusetts Secretary of State in February of this year, just before the March 6 presidential primaries to find out how voters lean in Burlington and other communities.

According to the data, 30.3 percent of Burlington's voters are registered Democrats, compared to just 11 percent registered Republicans.
While that's nearly a 3 to 1 margin, there are more unenrolled voters than either group, comprising 58.3 percent of the town's registered voters.

It isn't all that unusual: in Massachusetts as a whole, unenrolled voters represent the largest chunk. 52.2 percent of voters across Massachusetts aren't registered with a political party.
