Elements Therapeutic Massage; Relieving Stress and Improving Health
Elements therapeutic massage located at 101 Cambridge St., Burlington, is a calming oasis in a busy world.

Balancing work, home and family can be a challenge — most people work hard to make a living and it can be stressful. Stress can take a toll on one’s body, making the muscles stiff and achy. Sometimes one just needs a massage to help relax and feel human again.
The benefits of massage are many: It relaxes muscles, manages pain, improves flexibility, strengths the immune system, improves circulation and lowering blood pressure. Health is so important and massage is a drug-free preventative measure to maintain good health. Massage lessens depression and anxiety, helps athletes prepare for and recover from strenuous workouts, and enhances immunity by stimulating lymph flow, body’s natural defense system.
Elements Therapeutic Massage, located at 101 Cambridge St., offers this relaxing service. The business is owned and operated by Kip LeBaron, a longtime Burlington resident. LeBaron started out working in the corporate world as a project manager and although this position gave him a lot of experience in business it didn’t give him the flexibility to be with his family and the satisfaction of making people happy by offering them wellness.

"We at elements encourage our clients to have regular massages as part of their health routine," he said. "Like exercise, massage is conducive to healthy living."
Customer service is an important part of Elements Therapeutic Massage. A client gets a massage that is individualized to his or her needs for that day. The massage therapist will ask questions of the client to find out what state their physical condition is at the time. All their information is documented and the therapist keeps records of the massage. It’s important to talk to the client and find out how they feel, molding the massage to his condition.
“There are no cookie cutter massages offered," LeBaron says proudly.
Elements staffs 18 massage therapists and Heather, the office manager and LeBaron’s right hand. All employees share the same mission.
"Our goal is an exceptional experience for clients," LeBaron said.
LeBaron’s wife, Lisa, is busy bringing up her two children, Madison, 10 and Kip Jr., 8, as well as helping out with the business. This past Christmas season LeBaron and his wife staffed a cart in the to offer gift certificates for massages.
Different types of massages are available at elements. Swedish massage uses long strokes, kneading and deep circular movements and tapping. Deep tissue massage uses more forceful strokes to reach the deeper layers of muscles and flushes toxins enhancing the immune system. Hot Stone massage uses heated basalt stones allowing the muscles to release faster giving a deeper sense of relaxation. Prenatal and sports massage is also available. The chair massage is a great way to offer massages to corporate employees at their location. Elements travels to various Burlington companies with the chair massage for company events offering employees a relaxing massage break.
Future plans for LeBlanc are to expand elements therapeutic massage to a larger location to accommodate a growing business.
