Linda Roscoe of Burlington and Sally Morrison of Bedford are part of a larger group from the Presbyterian Church here in Burlington that on Sunday May 1 instead of sitting in the pews will be walking in Boston participating in Project Bread’s annual‘Walk for Hunger’.‘ The Presbyterian Church has participated in the Walk for Hunger every year since 1971, Linda is walking for the 24th time and Sally has walked 7 times. This year they are trying something new to raise funds for Project Bread, they are hosting a chocolate tasting fundraising party. This event will take place on Saturday April 30 at 7pm at the Presbyterian church (335 Cambridge St.) and everyone who loves chocolate is invited to come! Chocolatier Jane McIninch from fine chokolader of Burlington will talk about techniques for tasting chocolate, different types of chocolate and what makes chocolate so good while samples of different types of chocolate will be available for tasting. fine chokolader will also be selling their confections and 20% of all sales will be donated to Project bread.
