Please join us for a very special evening of remembrance. The interfaith community will join together as we recall the events leading up to the Holocaust and think about the ways in which hatred, prejudice and inhumanity impact our world today. We will tell the story of the Holocaust and light yahrzeit candles which we place in front of plaques with the number of Jews killed in each country.
Members of the Interfaith Clergy will join Rabbi Abramson in conducting this service.
Dr. Ksenya Khinchuk will be speaking on The Many Faces of the Holocaust. She will talk about her experiences as a child living through the seige of Leningrad. She will talk about her work as the Director of the Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program at BU and her involvement with helping the children of Rwanda during the holocaust in their country.
We hope you can join us. There will be a special dessert reception following the service.
