Protecting Your Personal Information

Dr. Hiam Levkowitz, Professor of Computer Science at UMass Lowell, will talk about phishing, safe vs unsafe online shopping, virtual credit cards, the right amount of personal data exposure on social networks, viruses and other type of 'malware', and other threats in cyberspace. In all of these, you will learn how to recognize attacks and how to defend against them before (best) and while they happen.
