The following is a sampling of log entries provided by the Burlington Police Department. Where mentioned, an arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, Jan. 10

8:09 a.m. - Caller from Ardmore Road reports icy roadways. Highway Department notified

8:10 a.m. - Caller from Louise Road reporting a disturbance. Police found it to be a dispute over parking when attempted to plow driveway. All parties advised of harassment orders which they declined at this time. Also advised on filing own complaints in district court if need be.

5:10 p.m. - Resident on Village Wood Drive reports home filled with smell of gas when gas fireplace was lit. Fire Department to handle.

5:19 p.m. - Juvenile, 17, arrested and charged with larceny over $250 in shoplifting incident at Macy’s, 75 Middlesex Turnpike.

7:09 p.m. - Caller from Chili’s Bar & Grill, 108 Middlesex Turnpike reports a male party debated with management about the total cost of his bill and then left without paying.

9:26 p.m. - Caller from Del Frisco’s Grille, 92 Middlesex Turnpike, reporting a small oven fire. Fire Department en route. Manager reporting fire is out but alarm still operating. Fire Department handled

Sunday, Jan. 11

12:47 a.m. - Manager from Tavern in the Square, 1 Executive Park reports a fight between two patrons. One party has left the restaurant and the other is still on the property. Police stayed on scene until all patrons left the establishment, no suspicious or criminal activity.

7:10 a.m. - Caller reports car fire on Rte. 128 North. Burlington Fire Department handled. Massachusetts State Police arrested the owner/operator of vehicle on a warrant.

10:58 a.m. - Caller reports a transformer blew and there is no power on Washington Avenue. NSTAR notified.

1:59 p.m. - Caller from AT&T, 75 Middlesex Turnpike, reports a phone was stolen from the store.

6:36 p.m. - Caller reports hearing gun shots in the area of 1 Jefferson Avenue at Washington Street. A unit was dispatched to the area where a Washington Avenue resident confirmed it was fireworks and not gun shots.

9:26 p.m. - Caller from Dunkin Donuts, 182 Cambridge St. reports a suspicious person inside the establishment. Person was gone when police arrived. Police spoke with employees and advised them to call again if the subject returns.

Monday, Jan. 12

9:23 a.m. - Caller from Beacon Village reports a white male walking around all the buildings attempting to get in. Police were unable to locate the person, possibly placing Pearle Vision advertisement on door handles of apartment buildings.

10:42 a.m. - Caller reports someone stole her identity and opened a Comcast and National Grid account with her information. Caller is requesting report so she can contact Comcast and National Grid and have services shut off.

1 p.m. - Caller from Dunkin Donuts, 28 Winn St., reporting two suspicious males, wearing hooded sweatshirts walking around. Police spoke with solicitors that dispatched confirmed had checked in. Appears to check out OK.

2:04 p.m. - Caller states a male driver appears to be falling asleep at the wheel in the area of the Shell gas station, 61 Middlesex Turnpike. Vehicle was gone on arrival.
