Gas Drops Below $3 in Parts of Mass. - But Not in Burlington
Gas prices hit a low of $3.15 in Burlington this week.

Gas prices this week plummeted to their lowest levels of the year — dropping below $3 a gallon in some parts of Massachusetts.
In Burlington, prices remained above $3. Here’s a look at the lowest prices in town as of Tuesday, according to GasBuddy:
- Prime Energy, $3.15
- Carli Convenience, $3.15
- Hess, $3.19
- Shell (140 Cambridge St. & Bedford Street), $3.21
- Shell (198 Cambridge St. near Terry Avenue), $3.21
- CITGO, $3.23
- Gulf, $3.23
- Mobil (173 Bedford St. near Network Drive), $3.25
- Mobil (50 Middlesex Turnpike & Adams Street), $3.29
- Shell (61 Middlesex Turnpike near Wheeler Road), $3.32
The average price of gas statewide was $3.26. Prices have been driven down by low demand and abundant supplies, according to the Associated Press.
