Honorary 5 Year Old Firefighter Dougie Davis Fundraiser

Fundraiser for 5 Year Old Dougie Davis

Finances are tight this time of year and everyone is looking for donations, but if you can spare a little to help Dougie Davis it would mean the world to him, his parents, family and friends.

Dougie is a 5 year old that was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor in 2013. His wish was to be a fighter fighter for a day and on July 4th the Burlington Fire Department made that happen. He was gifted with authentic Fire Fighter gear and made an honorary firefighter. See details: (http://www.myfoxboston.com/story/25943819/young-boy-with-brain-tumor-rides-on-burlington-fire-truck-in-4th-of-july-parade).

Now, Honorary Firefighter Dougie Davis has more chemo ahead of him and his family could use some financial support to offset medical costs. There will be a fundraiser held on December 8th at the Tavern in the Square (Burlington) who will host this event. It is $25.00 to attend and there will be a complimentary buffet, a cash bar, raffles and a good time for a good cause. If you can’t attended but can donate a service or item to raffle, please contact Fitness Within at 781-942-2919 and we will put you in touch with the firefighter, Paul Kadilak, who is the inspiration behind this fundraiser. In addition you can contact the Tavern for more details at 781-282-9000
