Burlington Super Tuesday Presidential Primary Results
5,413 Burlington residents voted in the Democratic primary, over a third of eligible voters.

BURLINGTON, MA — Burlington residents voted with the statewide electorate Tuesday and picked former Vice President Joe Biden as their preferred candidate. Biden won 1,804 votes, one third of the vote, according to unofficial town results. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders came second with just under 23.7 percent, missing his statewide fraction.
Burlington voters gave more support to former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg than voters around the state: he earned over 13.7 percent. Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, meanwhile, suffered in the town, with 17.2 percent.
Statewide, Biden led Sanders 33.5 percent to 26.7 percent, followed by Warren at 21.6 and Bloomberg at 11.7 percent.

6,828 cast ballots in the primary, for 43.7 percent turnout.
The Republican primary saw 1398 voters in Burlington, with over 90 percent voting for President Donald Trump, beating his statewide number.
