Thursday, March 12
7:20 a.m. - Caller reports a road sign has fallen down due to the wind in the area of 59 Cambridge St. at Mall Road. Same is partially in the roadway. Mass Highway notified and sign was moved back into the center island.
9:19 a.m. - Caller from Toward Individual Living?Learning, 3 Sandy Brook Road, reports person going into house through the window. Police said she checked out OK, a social worker locked herself out of the group home.

11:15 a.m. - Caller from Brookside Lane reports a motor vehicle backing in and out of people’s driveways. Vehicle was gone when police arrived.
5:09 p.m. - Burlington Mall Security reports a motor vehicle running in the parking lot with no one around. Narrative: MV running with keys in ignition. Vehicle secured, keys taken, and note left for owner. Officer notified vehicle’s owner and keys were returned.

Friday, March 13
6:28 a.m. - Caller reports an injured rabbit in the area of Cambridge Street at 1 Bedford St.
4:38 p.m. - Caller reports older female party walking in the roadway in the area of 290 Cambridge St. at Winn Street. Individual was advised by police to use the sidewalk when possible.
5:20 p.m. - Kohl’s Department Store has a male shoplifter in custody. Burlington Police arrested Jadavbhai, 56, of Burlington charged with shoplifting by asportation.
5:45 p.m. - Manager of Anthropologie at the Burlington mall reports past theft of more than $900 in merchandise between 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. No known suspects.
5:47 p.m. - Caller reports the past theft of a portable lights system, 186 Middlesex Turnpike. Unit dispatched to the area. Unknown if the lighting system was stolen or not.
