Local spectators can participate in health and wellness activities at the U.S. Senior Open
Lahey Health today announced its role as the supporter of health and wellness initiatives at the 2017 U.S. Senior Open, which will be held June 29 – July 2 at Salem Country Club in Peabody, Massachusetts. This will be the second time the championship will be held at the Salem Country Club.
“We are thrilled to be the health and wellness supporter of this premier championship,” said Howard Grant, JD, MD, President and CEO of Lahey Health. “At Lahey Health, we’re committed to improving the health of the communities we serve. We look forward to sharing health and wellness information with those attending the U.S. Senior Open.”
As the health and wellness supporter of the championship, Lahey Health will host a wellness pavilion throughout the seven-day event. Spectators will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities at the Lahey Health Wellness Pavilion including free golf swing assessments. Lahey Health physical therapists trained by the Titleist Performance Institute will be on hand to help golfers identify physical limitations that may affect the efficiency of their golf swing and learn about injury prevention and strength and conditioning exercises. Spectators can also pick up a ‘Walk the Course’ scorecard and collect stamps at checkpoints throughout the course for a chance to win daily prizes.
