Letter to the Editor: Support Growing for Mike Runyan
A letter on endorsements from the Runyan campaign for Board of Selectmen.

The following is a letter to the editor from the Mike Runyan campaign:
Selectman Candidate Mike Runyan Earns Key Endorsements:
As Election Day nears (Saturday, April 14th,) Selectman Candidate Mike Runyan, has gotten the endorsement of four highly respected pillars of the community. Behind the rally slogan of “I Like Mike” generating election excitement, Sonia Rollins, Gary Gianino, Keven McKelvey and Muriel O’Brien have all publically announced their support for Mike.

Rollins served as a member of the Board of Selectman from 2004 - 2010, Gianino, served as a Selectman for 18 years, McKelvey was a Selectman from 1998 to 2007 and Muriel O'Brien, has been a major advocate for the Senior Citizens and Veterans.
When asked to comment on Runyan's bid for the Selectman seat, Rollins stated, "Over the years, I have come to know Mike as a man of integrity, a hard worker and a person with common sense. I am confident Mike will be a great addition to the Board of Selectmen and will bring to the table a level of experience and knowledge that is critical in the upcoming years. Please join me in supporting Mike Runyan."

McKelvey, Chairperson for the 4th of July Parade Committee for the Burlington Breakfast Rotary Club, echoed Rollins' sentiments. "Mike is dedicated to serving our community. He is an independent thinker and will fight for what is right for Burlington," Kevin stated.
Gianino was quoted as saying, "Mike has proven to be a active, involved, dedicated and trustworthy resident of the town, and he will serve the Board in the same manner."
Muriel O'Brien is giving her endorsement because "I have known Mike since he was a child growing up in Burlington. He knows and cares about issues important to seniors and veterans of our town."
