Holiday Hours
The library will be closed Saturday, December 24 through Monday, December 26 for the Christmas holiday.

Teen Lounge - Fridays, Dec. 23 and 30, 2:30-4:30 pm Join Nicole for games, crafts, snacks, you name it. (Check out our new game collection!)

Polar Express Storytime - Tuesday, Dec. 27, 1-1:45 pm Listen to Miss Amanda read “The Polar Express” then stay for fun activities.
Teen Movie with Cocoa -Tuesday, Dec. 27, 6-8 pm Join Nicole for a showing of “Miss Peregrine’s School” and a side of cocoa!
Family Movie and Popcorn - Wednesday, Dec. 28, 11 am- 1pm Enjoy “The Jungle Book” with popcorn and friends!
Minecraft - Wednesday, Dec. 28, 3-4:30 pm Play Minecraft Pocket Edition on library tablets. No device, account, or experience necessary. We have enough tablets for the first ten to arrive.
Big Kids, Big Stories! - Wednesday, Dec. 28, 7-7:45 pm Because we’re never too big to be read too! This month join Mary for “The Steadfast Tin Soldier” and snacks. For kids 6 and up
Gizmos and Gadgets -Thursday, Dec. 29, 3:30-4:15 pm Play with circuits, and build gadgets with Little Bits! Best for grades 3-6
Creature Teachers Animal Show - Thursday, Dec. 29, 6-7 pm See and learn about different animals. Great for all ages!

If you need holiday music and the library is closed we have an option for you. With Freegal you can stream up to three hours of music per day and download five MP3 songs for free each week and keep them forever. You will need a valid library card from the Burlington Public Library. To get started, visit the library’s webpage and click on the “eLibrary” icon on the right. Next, click “Freegal.” Enjoy the music!
