National Book Award Winner Coming To Burlington Library

Julia Glass is the critically acclaimed and bestselling author of 6 books. Her first book, Three Junes, won the National Book Award for Fiction and her third book, I See You Everywhere, won the SUNY John Gardner Fiction Award. Her most recent book, A House Among the Trees, is the story of a world famous children's author whose unexpected death causes massive upheaval in the life of his assistant.

Teen Giant Retro Games - Monday, May 13, 7:00-8 pm If you love classic board games, Nicole has some life-sized versions for you. You’ll have your choice of Sorry, Jenga, Memory, and Pac Man for massive fun!

Tween Craft: Secret Code Necklaces - Tuesday, May 14, 7-8 pm You’ll have no trouble keeping a secret once you’ve made one of these necklaces with Jenna.

Preschool Science - Thursday, May 16, 1:30-1:45 pm Joanna will introduce you to the wonders of simple science.
Science Blast - Thursday, May 16, 4-4:45 pm Learn to use a microscope with Amanda! Grades K-5

Storytime Schedule

Baby Storytime - Fridays @ 11 am For caregivers with children from birth to 18 months. Delight and enliven your baby’s senses with books, songs, toys, and puppets. Build brain power.

Toddler Storytime - Tuesdays and Wednesdays @ 10:30 am For caregivers with children ages 18-36 months. Interact with your toddler with your toddler during storytime to nurture a love of books. Be active with music and movement!
Preschool Storytime - Wednesdays@ 11 am For caregivers with children ages 3-6 years. Help your
preschooler get ready to read. Enjoy stories together and build language skills.
