• Massachusetts towns launch free, on-demand electric rides to transit, shops, and care (thecooldown.com) — Burlington residents now have access to The Link, a free, on-demand electric shuttle connecting neighborhoods with local shops, Lahey Clinic, and regional transit hubs. The yearlong pilot, shared with Woburn, Reading, and Wakefield, aims to cut transportation costs, ease traffic, and reduce emissions while improving mobility for workers, older adults, and families without cars.

• Warren, Trahan Statement Following Burlington ICE Facility Site Visit (senate.gov) — Federal lawmakers visited the Burlington ICE facility to investigate reports that detainees there lacked adequate food, medical care, and sleeping conditions. After touring all detention areas, they said they questioned ICE officials and pledged to keep pushing for more humane treatment, transparency, and accountability affecting people held in Burlington.
