Please Re-Elect Katherine Bond for School Committee

Over the years that we have known Katherine Bond, we have consistently seen evidence of her ability as a leader for our schools.

Under Katherine’s leadership, we have:

- Hired a new Assistant Superintendent,

- Implemented improved school safety with new protective technology,

- Added safety vestibules at school entrances,

- Designed and planned the new Fox Hill School,

- Implemented a districtwide elementary reading program,

- Strengthened math instruction,

- Negotiated a bus contract with accountability measures for late buses, and

- Introduced a bus tracking application so parents could locate their bus on their phone application.

As chair of the High School Building Committee, Katherine is committed to finding a workable solution to our high school infrastructure that the entire community can support. Katherine knows that we need a strong focus on science, so our teachers have the tools and resources they need to help every student thrive.

In addition to having an updated curriculum and adequate facilities, Katherine sees school safety as her top priority. If re-elected, Katherine will continue her work with our police department to ensure safety in every school.

Under Katherine’s leadership, the Burlington Schools have made substantial progress and we want that progress to continue. Please join me and vote to re-elect Katherine Bond for School Committee.
