Burlington Police: No Attempted Child Abduction Occurred

Late Thursday afternoon, media outlets were reporting that Burlington Police were investigating an attempted child abduction that was said to have happened at a school bus stop in town.

John Guilfoil, who handles public relations for the Burlington Police Department, tweeted Thursday afternoon that there was no crime, not attempted abduction, it was a miscommunication with a parent.
