Police Log: Gas Station Disagreement, Suspicious Teens and a TV That Was Just Too Loud

Tuesday, August 12
1:13 a.m. - Motor vehicle stop, Cambridge Street at Wall Street. Warning issued for speeding.
1:59 a.m. - Motor vehicle stop, Cambridge Street at Winn Street. The driver was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

5:49 a.m. - Police received a report of heavy equipment in the roadway in the area of Rte. 128 Northbound Apt. #33B.. Massachusetts State Police and Department of Transportation notified.
10:14 a.m. - An elderly, female driver drove off the road and into property at 40 Bedford St. There was damage to the property. The driver was taken to Lahey Clinic for observation. Vehicle was towed from the scene.

10:59 a.m. - Police received an in person report regarding identify fraud. The person reported someone was using their social security number.
12:59 p.m. - Police received reports of a disturbance at the Citgo Burlington, 161 Bedford St. The argument was between a customer and the owner of the station over work being down on his car. The owner was not happy with the price given to repair the vehicle. The owner of the station said if the vehicle was removed he would not charge for work already performed. The vehicle was removed, situation settled without further incident.
3:02 p.m. - Police received a call about a suspicious person at Planet Fitness, 40 Ray Ave. The manager reports a youth came into the gym appearing suspicious. There were three males driving a light gray colored Toyota with Massachusetts plates. The manager ejected them when they came into the gym. They all left on foot.
3:59 p.m. - The manager from Citizens Bank reported someone walked into the bank and asked him to call police because someone over at Lahey Clinic threatened to shoot him. Police spoke to the daughter who stated his is on medication that confuses him. The individual had an IV still in arm and hospital wrist band showing he was admitted to Lahey on 08/10/14. Patient was transported back to Lahey by Burlington Fire Department.
5:34 p.m. - Massachusetts State Police reported a confused elderly man was walking down the off ramp from Rte. 128 onto Winn Street. Police were unable to locate the individual.
5:47 p.m. - Motor vehicle crash Cambridge Street at Rte. 128 South. One vehicle rear ended another while merging onto Cambridge Street. Very minor damage to both vehicles and no injuries reported.
6:47 p.m. - Ambulance requested at Nordblom, 55 Network Drive after a man cut his hand while changing his tire. He was transported to Lahey.
7:41 p.m. - Police received a report of a disturbance at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, 29 Mall Road. A male and female were having a physical altercation inside a vehicle in the parking lot. The man then exited the vehicle and started walking toward South Bedford Street. Police separated the two individuals and found a ride for one of them.
8:16 p.m. - Caller reports someone hit her car at the Burlington Mall and left the area.
9:04 p.m. - Caller reports neighbor’s television set is too loud. Police spoke to resident who acknowledged he would turn down the TV.
11:05 p.m. - Manager of Dunkin Donuts at 182 Cambridge St. called to report a large group of youths hanging around in the area of the drive thru. Police advised the group of about eight to 10 teenagers that the manager does not want them hanging out in the parking lot and sent them on their way.
