The following log entries were provided by the Burlington Police Department. Where mentioned, an arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Wednesday, Oct. 8
2:59 a.m. - Report of a suspicious person in dark clothing walking in the middle of the road in the area of 376 Cambridge St. at 6 Francis Wyman Road. Was a female jogging on the sidewalk. Officers report they’ve seen her jogging this late in the past. Everything checked out OK.
11:24 a.m. - Report the No U Turn sign is missing on Cambridge Street northbound in the area of 59 Cambridge St. at Mall Road. MassDOT notified.

12:52 p.m. - Caller from Electric Supply Center, 200 Middlesex Turnpike reports a tire was slashed on a company car. The passenger side tires were slashed sometime overnight. Estimated damage is $500. Caller will sift through security video when someone capable of running the equipment comes in.
1:45 p.m. - Caller reports a male walking down the street yelling at himself in the area of the Primrose School, 10 Greenleaf Way. Officers checked the area. The individual did not go onto the daycare property.

2:04 p.m. - Male party reports finding a large hunting knife in the bushes in front of his house at 14 Hampden Ave. Resident found a fishing filet knife and carry pouch on his side lawn. Knife is in new condition caller will keep knife for himself. no crime occurred.
4:09 p.m. - Male party came into police station to report he found a wallet on Lexington Street in Waltham. He attempted to return wallet to address in Waltham on the license. He said the woman who lives at location stated she never heard of that person. Owner of the wallet notified, same to pick up the wallet at the police station. Wallet was returned to the owner who reported money was missing from the wallet.
5:33 p.m. - Caller reports traffic lights at the intersection at Best Buy (84 Middlesex Ave.) are not cycling enough traffic off the highway. Mass Highway was notified.
6:14 p.m. - Caller reports a truck hit his mailbox on Phyllis Avenue and it is partially uprooted from his lawn.
7:32 p.m. - Caller reports she was unable to locate her vehicle today at the end of her husbands doctor’s appointment in the garage at Lahey. Lahey Security searched garage for the car, which they could not locate. Caller was given a ride home by her daughter. Lahey Security reports after checking the garage again they located the vehicle. Owners were notified by Weston police.
9:31 p.m. - Caller from St. Malachy’s Catholic Church, 99 Bedford St., reports a suspicious motor vehicle parked out back near the storage shed. A group of six young males who were playing frisbee at the Wildwood Park. Same stated that they felt safer parking at the church as opposed to the park.
10:13 p.m. - Caller reports losing his wallet in the area of the Tuscan Kitchen, 24 Executive Park. Same is a black leather money clip with the initials RW engraved. License, debit/credit card, and $400 cash reported to be in the money clip.
Thursday, Oct. 9
1:28 p.m. - Reports of a suspicious person and motor vehicles in the area of Mountain Road. Male and female parties were sent on their way and checked out OK.
1:52 a.m. - Suspicious person in the area of Fox Hill Road at 84 Beaverbrook Road. Male with red hooded sweatshirt, red jacket and white backpack walking down roadway.
9:41 a.m. - Visiting nurse reports people canvassing the senior housing complex at 7 Birchcrest St. trying to convert people to a different religion refusing to leave area. Jehovah Witness sales people left area when asked by officer.
10:15 a.m. - Caller from Jimmy’s Family Restaurant, 279 Cambridge St., reports a vehicle has been in the lot for approximately six days.
3:23 p.m. - Caller reports he observed offensive comments shared to a group page on Facebook. Caller was advised to report same to Facebook.
4:28 p.m. - Caller reports a fox is running through the Best Buy parking lot at 84 Middlesex Turnpike and is requesting an officer check. Officer was unable to locate fox.
7:59 p.m. - Caller reports he was selling a phone on craigslist. When meeting up with the interested party at Chili’s Bar & Grill, 108 Middlesex Turnpike, the person took his phone and fled the area in a silver BMW.
9:05 p.m. - Officer reports an odor of natural gas in the parking lot of Mens Wearhouse, 60 South Ave. National Grid was notified.
