Tuesday, Oct. 21
7:05 a.m. - Report of a large tree limb blocking the sidewalk on Chester Avenue. DPW to cut tree.
7:05 a.m. - Report of a barking dog on Wheatland Street. Citation issued. Animal Control Officer to to speak with homeowner.

7:14 a.m.- Two car crash occurred on the highway. Officers dispatched to assist in the area of Del Frisco’s Grille, 92 Middlesex Turnpike. An unidentified vehicle cut-off vehicles on the highway. No injuries reported.
9:17 a.m. - Resident reports suspicious silver sedan parked on the side of the road on Keans Road.

10:51 a.m. - Caller reports an erratic operator in the area of the Middlesex Turnpike at 112 Mall Road.
11:49 a.m. - Report of injured squirrel in the driveway by the edge of the street. Call believed the animal’s legs were broken. Squirrel was put down and removed.
2:27 p.m. - Lord and Taylor requested assistance in the positive identification of two juvenile female shoplifters who stole womens clothing. Assistance given. Parent was notified and will pick up the girls at Lord and Taylor’s security office. Female store security officers remained with girls until parents arrived.
3:40 p.m. - Complainant reports male in early sixties approached female who cares for his mother-in-law while in his driveway on Harvard Avenue. Complainant stated he heard him say something about not abiding by a subpoena. He said female was already under stress and became even more upset- Subject had words with complainant before he left. Vehicle was gone prior to police arriving.
7:17 p.m. - Caller reports losing an iPhone while at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, 41 Mall Road. It was an iPhone 5s color gold with a pink case.
9:08 p.m. - Burberry manager reporting a past theft. Suspects may have already left the area.
9:27 p.m. - Driver summonsed following motor vehicle stop in the area of Cambridge Street at Nelson Road. Operator to be summoned for unlicensed operation, improper passing and speeding.
10:57 p.m. - Caller reports a dark colored car parked out in front of building at 9 Arboretum Way. Couple appears to be arguing. Parties checked out OK, they were waiting for their aunt to get home with house key.
Wednesday, Oct. 22
12:58 a.m. - Party at Not Your Average Joes, 6 Wayside Road, reports two people in a Black sedan watching them as they clean the facility. Vehicle has NH plates with unknown
registration. Vehicle was gone on police arrival.
5:13 a.m. - Party indicated a new trash dumpster was removed from 5 Ardmore Avenue. Company to be called.
9:11 a.m. - Report of wires down in the area of 228 Winn Street. They were cable wires and were moved to the side of the road.
9:31 a.m. - Resident reports on going problem with damage to her property on Locust Street by ATV/Dirt Bikes. On this occasion a newly placed “No Trespassing” sign installed by NStar on her behalf was bent in half to prevent visibility of the sign. A unit was dispatched to location and observed damaged sign.
12:06 p.m. - Caller reports she arrived home on Beaverbrook Road, saw broken glass on the
floor and thought someone broke into house. It was not a breaking and entering, an umbrella fell from the wind and broke a window.
12:20 p.m. - Report of wire and tree limb down in the roadway on Duncan Road. NSTAR and DPW made the road safe to traverse.
2:25 p.m. - Caller reports male sitting on bench possibly intoxicated at the Mary Cumming Recreation Center, 25 Blanchard Road. Subject was placed into protective custody and transported to Burlington PD.
4:20 p.m. - Caller reports a suspicious motor vehicle was parked in the bushes at Skilton Lane and Fox Hill Road. Vehicle was gone when police arrived.
7:29 p.m. - Numerous calls reporting a transformer explosion in the area of 99 Burlington Street and Mountain Road.
8:36 p.m. - Female reports a theft of a $20,000 ring from her home on University Avenue.
8:48 p.m. - Reports a transformer blew and is sparking in the area of Wayside Road at 102 South Bedford Street. Area checked out OK, no fire.
8:50 p.m. - Reports a transformer blew and wires sparking in the area of 65 Skilton Lane. Fire Department en route. Neighborhood in darkness, NSTAR notified. Multiple power outages reported.
