Recreation Department Releases Schedule For Seniors

Most activities are free and those that require a fee will be on a pay as you attend basis.

From the Burlington Parks & Recreation Department: The Burlington Parks & Recreation Department, along with the Club 55 Activity Coordinators, has announced the start of their spring/summer programs for active seniors. Most activities are free and those that require a fee will be on a pay as you attend basis.

Golf begins Tuesday, April 17, with a tee time of 7:30 a.m. at Kings Rail Golf course in Lynnfield. Tennis will begin Thursday, April 26, 9:00 a.m. at Rahanis Playground. Bocce, a very popular sport, is held at the rear of the Human Services Center building on Wednesdays, beginning April 25 with a 9:00 a.m. start time. Ongoing programs are: Whist on Fridays, 9:00 a.m. at the Senior Center the Sing-A-Long is held on Wednesdays at 1:15 at the Parks & Recreation Department, Function Room 2.
