The following is a sampling of log entries provided by the Burlington Police Department.
Saturday, March 14
8:58 a.m. - Caller from Shell, 61 Middlesex Turnpike reports being threatened by customer. Suspect left prior to police arriving. No criminal threats occurred at this time. Caller advised to call the police if suspect returns.
6:10 p.m. - Caller from Sears, 75 Middlesex Turnpike, reports a male juvenile stole a $44 shirt. Same was released by his mother’s authorization. Juvenile was trespassed from the store and to receive civil demand.

7:47 p.m. - Caller from Chestnut Road reports hearing the sound of 10 or more gunshots or fireworks. All quiet when police arrived.
Sunday, March 15
1:56 a.m. - Caller from Burlington Executive Park reports two suspicious males walking around in the area. Same were described as white males dressed in black. Units checked the area and were unable to locate.

11:52 a.m. - Caller reports his credit card was used on Jan. 10 at Sephora in the mall, used fraudulently.
3:33 p.m. - Caller from Victoria Secret, 75 Middlesex Turnpike, reports four or five women in store asked to leave have become threatening. Police spoke to management who stated that customers relayed to employees that a group of eight black females were shoplifting and communicating with each other through the use of bluetooth devices. Employees were unable to verify what was actually stolen. Loss prevention to forward DVD images to police.
5:46 p.m. - Caller reports a deer appears to be injured in his backyard on Upland Road. The deer ran off into the woods upon arrival.
Monday, March 16
8:19 a.m. - Caller reports an animal in her garage on Skilton Lane.
2:17 p.m. - Manager of Avalon Burlington, 1 Arboretum Way, reports a motor vehicle is missing from the parking lot. The car was taken from the lot sometime since last Saturday afternoon.
4:13 p.m. - Caller from Dunkin’ Donuts, 85 Wilmington Road reports two teenagers throwing snowballs at cars in the lot. They are described as 14-16 years old, one wearing a gray and other wearing a blue sweatshirt. Both wearing jeans. Youths were not there when police arrived. Motorists say they saw the boys throwing snow and being picked up by a vehicle.
4:25 p.m.- Management from Heritage Way reports they have replaced a lock on the gate between Mountain Road and Heritage way several times. New lock put on today. request extra checks in area for person cutting lock and driving through gate.
5:37 p.m. - Two shoplifters detained at Macy’s, 75 Middlesex Turnpike. Both to be summonsed for larceny over $250.
9:03 p.m. - Caller from Marigold Way reports strong odor of gas in her home. Burlington Fire and Eversource notified.
