UPDATED: Two Residents Taken to Hospital after CO Incident

Fire Department called to the home Wednesday afternoon for elevated carbon monoxide readings.

Two Burlington residents have been taken to the hospital following a carbon monoxide situation in a home in town.

Just after noon on Wednesday, the Burlington Fire Department was at a home on Wing Terrace investigating elevated carbon monoxide readings.

A woman living in the home called officials when carbon monoxide detectors were going off in the home and residents weren’t feeling well, WCVB-TV, Channel 5 Boston is reporting

Fire officials say two residents of the home were transported to a Boston Hospital suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning.

Firefighters told WCVB-TV a defective gas boiler may have caused the leak.
