Video Voyagers, BCAT's FREE after-school program for middle school students returns September 23rd.
Video Voyagers teaches the fundamentals of our studio and video production. Participants are taught the proper use of video equipment for both in-studio and on-location productions. They work both in front of the camera as well as behind the scenes taking turns as videographer, director, graphics, audio, etc. and utilize programs such as Adobe Creative Suite and Tricaster Studio.
Projects are shot over the course of each school semester and edited into a full half-hour television program for broadcast on BCAT and viewing on-demand on BCAT’s YouTube channel.

Regular support is given to all participants with an interest in any aspect of production. The Video Voyagers program encourages creativity, teamwork, and leadership with each production students work on. Brainstorming sessions take place as kids work together to bring their ideas to life. We have a variety of props and wardrobes to make their production stand out, and students can perform exercises that make a fun way for them to learn different aspects of video production.
Video Voyagers meets 3-5 pm every Wednesday throughout the school year. Our maximum capacity is 20 students so be sure to sign up today! Questions email flaherty@bcattv.org or call 781-273-5922.
