Voter's Guide To 2017 4th Middlesex State Senate Special Election

With no Republicans in the race, this primary could determine who wins the seat.

Three Democrats are vying for the 4th Middlesex Senate District seat of the late state Sen. Kenneth Donnelly, D-Arlington, who died in April due to complications from brain cancer.

There are no Republican candidates running. The winner of the Tuesday night's primary will face Ian Jackson, a Green-Rainbow Party candidate, in the July 25 general election.

  • Mass. Board of Elementary and Secondary Education Mary Ann Stewart of Lexington

Republican Primary

  • No Candidates

When to vote:

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday. If you make the line by 8 p.m., you're allowed to vote.
