Want to Be a Member of the Board of Assessors?

The Burlington Board of Selectmen will be making an appointment to the Burlington Board of Assessors.

The town is looking for residents interested in serving the community in this interim position Town officials are seeking residents. The deadline for submitting applications is 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 3.

The individual appointed to the Board of Assessors will serve from the date of the appointment until the Town’s 2015 annual election. The Board of Assessors currently meets the third or fourth Thursday of every month at 6 p.m.

Candidates for the position will be interviewed Monday, Sept. 8 in a joint meeting of the Board of Selectmen and the Board of Assessors.
