Water Treatment Plant Operator, DPW
Responsible for performing work related to the installation, operation maintenance and repair of centrifugal and turbine pumps and controls, including the operation and maintenance of a public utility water treatment facility or sewer pumping station facility.
Starting rate is $23.10 per hour. This is a full-time position, 40-hours per week.

Two positions available for the following shifts:
- Sunday through Thursday 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The position performs varied and responsible duties that range from routine to complex and requires a thorough knowledge of departmental operations and the exercise of judgment in situations not clearly defined by precedent or established procedures.
This position is full-time (35 hours per week) and is a union position included within the Burlington Municipal Employees Association (BMEA).

Part Time Outreach Worker, Council on Aging
The Council On Aging is looking for a part-time Outreach Worker to work with the elder population in Burlington. The position will provide social and emotional services to these elders and their families to promote the well being of seniors. This position will also be working with the Southeast Asian population.
Hours are primarily weekdays with some nights and occasional weekend work, approximately 10-15 hours per week. Salary is $21.56 per hour. This position does not participate in the Town-benefits program, and is subject to availability of grant funding. The position will remain open until filled.

Supervising Nurse, Board of Health
Reporting to the Director of Public Health, the Supervising Nurse is responsible for the oversight of the Board of Health’s public health nursing functions.
This position is included within the Burlington Municipal Employees Association bargaining unit. Starting salary at Grade 11, Step I of the BMEA contract is $31.08 per hour, plus comprehensive and generous benefits. This is a full-time position, 35-hours per week. The position will remain open until filled.
