Social Media Survey
Burlington Public Library is again conducting a survey to help us learn how to better serve and connect with you through social media. Please take a few minutes to reply. Your input last year was very helpful and pointed us in the direction that we took. Your assistance again will give us the guidance we need for future planning.

Paper copies of our survey are at the Circulation desk on the first floor of the library. Our survey may also be completed online just visit our website (burlingtonpubliclibrary.org) and click on the link to the survey.
Tween Club -Thursday, September 29, 3:30-4:30 p.m. Enjoy crafts and snacks with Jenna! This week make stained glass leaves from construction and tissue paper to hang in your windows. Grades 3-6

Teen Lounge - Friday, September 30 and Oct.7, 2:30-4:30 p.m. Join Nicole for games, crafts, snacks, you name it. (Check out our new game collection!)
Baby Sensory Time - Monday, October 3, 11-11:30 a.m. Bring your baby in for sensory play in a group with Amanda. This program is best for babies who can sit up.
Preschool Science - Monday, October 3, 1-1:45 p.m. Join Joanna for the wonders of everyday science!
Lego Club - Monday, October 3, 3:45-4:45 p.m. We provide the legos, you provide the imagination. Grades K-6
T. A. G. (Teen Advisory Group) - Monday, October 3, 7-8 p.m. Help Nicole plan upcoming teen events. Members qualify for volunteer hours.
Magnus Chase Party - Tuesday, October 4, 3:30-4:30 p.m. Amanda will lead Viking themed activities and raffle off the newest book in the Magnus Chase series! This program is best for grades 3-6.
Book Buddies -Wednesday, October 5, 7-7:30 p.m. This is a reading mentor program that pairs up children (preschool-grade 2) with teens. Be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes early: only the first 12 will have buddies. Nicole will read to any additional children as a group.
Mother-Daughter Book Club - Thursday, October 6, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Amanda will lead a book chat with snacks, followed by a related activity for moms to do with their daughters. This month: The Penderwicks, by Birdsall . Books are available at the YS desk . (Grades 3-6)
Blood Pressure Screening at the Library
The Burlington Public Library and the Board of Health are partnering to bring additional blood pressure screening to our community. Public Health Nurse, Roberta Gullage, has arranged to have a nurse here on Wednesdays. This schedule consists of alternating morning and evening shifts in order to reach as many people as possible. The free screening will take place on the first floor in the Adult Fiction area. Stop in and have your pressure checked!
The schedule is as follows: October 5 & 19, 10:30-11:30am and October 12 &26, 6:00-7:00pm
