Winner: Who Makes Burlington's Best Sandwiches?

The results are in and Sammy's Deli & Catering was named the best place for sandwiches in Burlington in this week's poll.

Sammy's received 46 votes and edged out Burlington's Cold Cut Center, which also had a strong showing.

One reader said "Sammy's is the best!" and another added "Sammy's by far!"

Owner Carl Restivo said he appreciated his customers supporting the restaurant and voting for their shop in the poll. It's very nice to win."

"We've been here for 47 years and through that time we've been developing new sandwich creations that have really caught on in the area," he said. "We do appreciate their loyalty."
