14 Bluegrass and Old Time Acts to Perform at Club Passim's 14th Annual Down Home Up Here Bluegrass Festival o
Patriots' Day Weekend celebration brings 14 acts and interactive workshops to Harvard Square for a deep dive into the roots.

The high-lonesome sound of the fiddle and the driving rhythm of the banjo are returning to Harvard Square this Patriots’ Day Weekend. Club Passim has announced the return of the Down Home Up Here Bluegrass & Old-Time Festival, scheduled for Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19.
Now in its 14th year, the festival has become a cornerstone of the spring acoustic music scene. This year’s installment features 14 standout acts ranging from traditional string bands to modern interpretations of Americana and roots music.
True to the Passim mission of fostering a musical community, the weekend isn't just for spectators. In addition to the main stage performances, the festival will host daily workshops for musicians looking to sharpen their skills in bluegrass and old-time traditions.
