• A formal inquest led by judge will look into circumstances around a fatal police shooting in Central Square - Cambridge (csindie.com) — A state judicial inquest will begin Sept. 9 into the fatal Aug. 21 police shooting of a 64-year-old Watertown man in Cambridge's Central Square, near Massachusetts Avenue and Temple Street. Led by Judge Holly Broadbent, the process will publicly examine evidence, witness testimony, and whether any crime occurred, with the district attorney pledging broad transparency of records once proceedings conclude.
