Bank Robbed On Mass Ave: Cambridge Police

Police said no weapon was shown.

CAMBRIDGE — There was an unarmed robbery at a bank in the 500 block of Mass Ave., Thursday, the Cambridge Police said.

About 3:40 p.m. someone came into the bank, passed a note but did not show any weapon. The bank employees gave him a dye pack instead of cash, according to police. They described the person who robbed them as a man between the ages of 16 and 20, with light skin and wearing all black with a hood, sunglasses and a bandage on his face.

Police said the bank has very good security videos so they expect to analyze that footage and come back with some ideas of suspects.
