Cambridge Bust Leads To Drugs, Guns, Arrest Of NH's Most Wanted
The investigation that led to the raid began in June, when Matthew Haley, 26, violated the terms of his parole, state police said.

CAMBRIDGE, MA — During a raid Wednesday, State and Cambridge police found a man they said violated parole, along with guns, drugs and a dog named Oreo. The raid ended with the arrest of four people, including New Hampshire's fugitive of the week.
The investigation that led to the raid began in June, when Matthew Haley, 26, violated the terms of his parole on a conviction for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and a warrant was issued for his arrest, police said.
Early Wednesday morning, as officers entered a third-floor apartment at 216 Franklin St., other officers outside saw two men come out on the third-floor porch. One of the men, identified as Haley, climbed over the railing and began climbing down, police said. He was captured, along with the other man, Standly Miranda, 26.

Police said when they made their way into the apartment, a handgun and drugs were sitting in plain view. The items included:
- a Keltec Sub 2000 9mm collapsible rifle;
- a 32 caliber pistol;
- 30 9mm rounds;
- a ballistic vest;
- Class B narcotics believed to be cocaine and methamphetamine packaged for distribution;
- Class D narcotics believed to be marijuana packaged for distribution.
The following, all of whom were believed to be residents of the apartment, were arrested:

1. MATTHEW HALEY, 26, charged with parole violation; and a warrant for lewd, wanton and lascivious conduct, operating a motor vehicle after license suspension, failing to identify himself to a police officer, and interfering with a police officer.
2. STANDLY MIRANDA, 26, arrested on the following fresh charges stemming from the search of the apartment: Possession of a firearm without an FID card, unlawful possession of ammunition, unlawful carrying a of loaded firearm, possession of body armor during the commission of a felony, possession of a large capacity rifle, possession of a large capacity feeding device, possession of Class B substances with intent to distribute, and possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute.
3. HARDY QUINTIN, 32, arrested as a fugitive from justice on a New Hampshire charging him with narcotic sales, as well as the following fresh charges stemming from the search of the apartment: Possession of a firearm without an FID card, unlawful possession of ammunition, unlawful carrying a of loaded firearm, possession of body armor during the commission of a felony, possession of a large capacity rifle, possession of a large capacity feeding device, possession of Class B substances with intent to distribute, and possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute. (QUINTIN was designated as this week’s "Fugitive of the Week" by law enforcement authorities in New Hampshire who were searching for him. He has been on the run for the past two years.)
4. DANTE CONNER, 20, arrested on the following fresh charges stemming from the search of the apartment: Possession of a firearm without an FID card, unlawful possession of ammunition, unlawful carrying a of loaded firearm, possession of body armor during the commission of a felony, possession of a large capacity rifle, possession of a large capacity feeding device, possession of Class B substances with intent to distribute, and possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute.
Police also found a pit bulldog in the apartment that police said had recently been stolen from a homeless couple that stays in the Cambridge area. Police took custody of the dog, named Oreo, and the Cambridge Animal Commission reunited it with his owners.
