Cambridge Resident to Star in FARRAGUT NORTH
MOONSTRUCK THEATER COMPANY is pleased to present FARRAGUT NORTH, opening Friday, April 1st, and running for four performances through Sunday, April 3rd.
Stephen Bellamy is the wunderkind press secretary for Democratic candidate for president Governor Morris. He has built a career that men twice his age would envy but, during a tight presidential primary race, Stephen's meteoric rise falls prey to the backroom politics of more seasoned operatives. FARRAGUT NORTH is a fast-paced drama about the lust for power and the costs one will endure to achieve it.
"The question you gotta ask yourself is whether you want friends, or whether you want to work for the President?"

FARRAGUT NORTH features 8 performers from the Greater Boston area, including Cambridge resident Marshall Berenson who plays Tom Duffy, the skilled, menacing, and mercenary campaign manager for the rival candidate.
“FARRAGUT NORTH is an archetypical tale in a hyper-topical current events setting that I have always found attractive,” says Berenson. “The current election year climate makes this story a must see for political junkies and anyone who cares about the foibles of the human endeavor.”

Berenson has been acting as a serious endeavor for the past seven years and is a member of the Screen Actors Guild. His focus has been on film work as of late, and he highlights the role of Peter in the award winning film Angela as one of his favorite in recent memory. When asked what he does outside of performing for fun, Marshall said “In an alternate universe I love baking, macrame and have a passion for all racket sports.”
FARRAGUT NORTH is directed by Emma Watt. The production will be presented at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, 321 Arsenal St, Watertown, MA, in the Black Box Theater. Advance tickets are $21 for general admission and $18 for senior citizens and students. Tickets purchased at the door are $25 for general admission and $21 for senior citizens and students.
