Car Fire In Central Square Under Investigation: Cambridge Fire
If you were anywhere near Central Square Friday afternoon you may have seen the plumes of dark, then white smoke.

CAMBRIDGE, MA — Central Square looked more like a scene in a movie Friday afternoon as firefighters rushed to put out a car that had caught fire. Not just a little bit either: Photos show this car fully engulfed in flames as firefighters worked to put it out.
The call came in around 1:20 p.m. and fire crews quickly extinguished it, according to the department. There were no injuries, but the cause is still under investigation.
Several people watched from the end of the street as firefighters worked to put out the fire and the plums of smoke turned from dark to white. In one video posted by a passerby you can hear a boy shouting "Is it going to explode again?"
