Kimpton Marlowe Hotel General Manager named Outstanding GM of the Year
Joe Capalbo is once again named "Outstanding General Manager of the Year" for Award-Winning, AAA Four-Diamond Cambridge Hotel
At the recent 25th Annual Massachusetts Lodging Association [MLA] Stars of the Industry Awards, Kimpton Marlowe Hotel General Manager, Joe Capalbo, was named Outstanding General Manager of the Year [for hotels 250 guestrooms or less.]
The national Stars of the Industry awards program was created more than 40 years ago by the American Hotel & Lodging Association to recognize outstanding accomplishments in the lodging industry. While the categories have evolved over the years, the mission behind the awards is still the same — to honor those lodging executives, employees and properties across the US that best symbolize the highest level of quality and service in the hospitality industry. This is the second time that Capalbo has won this prestigious award from the Massachusetts Lodging Association. He won back in 2015 as well.
In addition to serving as General Manager of the award-winning, AAA Four Diamond Kimpton Marlowe Hotel in Cambridge, MA, Capalbo is also Regional Director of Operations for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. Capalbo is a resident of North Reading, Massachusetts.
