Malden Man Charged With Assault In Cambridge Stabbing

CAMBRIDGE, MA — Cambridge police have arrested a suspect wanted in an Aug. 21 stabbing on Temple Street. Police say Henry Tomaszewski, 62, of Malden will be charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a person over age 60.

Tomaszewski was taken into custody on a warrant late Wednesday.

The male victim sustained a minor injury to his neck last Wednesday after Cambridge police said Tomaszewski slashed or stabbed him with what they believed to be a jack knife following a fitness class. Police said the victim was known to Tomaszewski.
