In this ever evolving multimedia world on numerous platforms and players a most entertaining podcast has emerged that has the handiwork of Betsy Broadman.
Her stories of a trail of musical events, happenings and personalities basically trace the soundtrack of the lives of so many sixty-seventy-something folks.
Many of us dreamed of being a fly on the wall to the days and nights of backstage musical happenings Ms. Broadman attended, participated and maybe augmented.

In her most recent podcast with musician John Hall who penned the anthem of the 70’s anti-nuke anthem, a song simply named , “Power,” she delivers content.
In discussing the origin of Mr. Hall’s epic song that begins with, “Give me the warm power of the sun,”Ms. Broadman displays her abilities as an interviewer. She helps Mr. Hall explain how a simple song was a catalyst that helped arrest and stop the nuclear power tragedies. It was at that very time right after the “3 Mile Island” accident/event in Pennsylvania scared the whole world.

Ms. Broadman’s conversation with Mr. Hall throughout the podcast conjured up so many memories of that time in life, music and history that was and still is so important to all of us from that generation.
