The eight short documentaries spotlight diverse Indian stories, and advance registration is required because seating is limited. Ticket proceeds support Virtual Bharat's nonprofit work preserving India's cultural heritage.

2. AstraZeneca Opens New Global R&D Center in Cambridge's Kendall Square (bostonrealestatetimes.com) — AstraZeneca has opened a massive new 18‑story R&D center on Binney Street in Kendall Square, bringing nearly 2,000 researchers together and planning to boost its Massachusetts workforce by more than 50%. The $1 billion Cambridge investment will focus on next‑generation treatments for cancer, chronic and rare diseases, while also supporting local academic partnerships, STEM education, and community organizations.

3. Fatal shooting by Cambridge police deemed justified, bodycam footage released (boston.com) — A judicial inquest found Cambridge police were justified in the August fatal shooting of William Woodworth in Central Square, concluding officers reasonably feared for lives after he pointed a loaded gun at them. Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan accepted the findings, and Cambridge police have released bodycam footage while expressing condolences to Woodworth's family.

Sailing Wins Women's Atlantic Coast Championship – Round 1 (gocrimson.com) — Harvard sailors brought several major collegiate regattas to the Charles River in Cambridge this past weekend, including the Smith Trophy and BU Invitational, while also traveling to events across New England. The women's team shined by winning Round 1 of the Atlantic Coast Championship and posting strong division results elsewhere, giving local fans plenty to cheer about along the river.
