Rape, Drug Trafficking In Cambridge: Grand Jury Indictments

The DA announced two Cambridge-related indictments Monday.

CAMBRIDGE, MA — The District Attorney announced two Cambridge related indictments handed down by Grand Jury between July 12 and Aug. 9. It includes a man charged with rape, and another man charged with trafficking. Both were arrested in Cambridge.

Here's who and what they were charged with:

  • Ermiyas Haile, 31, of Cambridge, was charged with rape, assault with a dangerous weapon, and assault and battery on a family or household member. The Assistant District Attorney is Ceara Mahoney.
  • Malik Leviner, 20, of Boston, was charged with trafficking over 18 grams of cocaine and assault and battery. The Assistant District Attorney is Caitlin Gemmill.
