
CAMBRIDGE, MA — Harvard and MIT received some scared Wednesday. Everything turned out to be just fine.
All was clear at the MIT campus after a suspicious package prompted an emergency notification alert. Harvard, meanwhile, was one of several schools to get multiple bomb threats emailed in.
A suspicious package was been found at MIT in the E51 building, according to an alert from the school sent out just after 2 p.m. The building is being evacuated and anyone in the area was advised to stay away.

A little while later the all clear came in the form of another alert.
Harvard, meanwhile, never evacuated any buildings, saying there were no credible threats.
