2:10 p.m. Police responded to a burglar alarm on Elm Street. Accidental by employee.

2:24 p.m. Police responded to an abandoned 911 call at CVS Pharmacy on Washington Street. Accidental by employee.

2:25 p.m. Police responded to an abandoned 911 call at Kryptonite Corp. on Turnpike Street. Investigated.

2:59 p.m. Police assisted fire and medical personnel on Thoreau Road. Person taken to hospital.

3:25 p.m. Police assisted fire and medical personnel on Pleasant Street. Person taken to hospital.

5:28 p.m. Police responded to a animal complaint on Hillsview Streeet. Referred to other agency.

7:18 p.m. Police responded to a report of a disabled motor vehicle on Washington Street. Vehicle towed away.

7:59 p.m. Police responded to a report of larceny/forgery/fraud on Edicott Street.

8:36 p.m. Police responded to a report of juvenile offenses at Frank and Vinny's Barber on Church Street and arrested an individual on a charge of disorderly conduct.

10:22 p.m. Police responded and investigated a report of a family matter on Rebecca Road.

10:28 p.m. Police responded to a burglar alarm at Eastern Electronics on Pequot Way. False alarm.

11:06 p.m. Police responded to a report of juvenile offenses on Burns Avenue. Unfounded.

11:55 p.m. Police responded to a report of malicious damage at Canton High School Building A on Washington Street. Unable to locate.

Thursday, Aug. 2

1:39 a.m. Police assisted fire and medical personnel on Washington Street. A person was taken to the hospital.

6:02 a.m. Police responded to a burglar alarm on Shawmut Road. Accidental by employee.

6:03 a.m. Police responded to a burglar alarm at Clark School East on Whitman Road. Building checked and secured.

9:17 a.m. Police assisted fire and medical personnel at Grand Slam Deli on Turnpike Street. Referred to other agency.

10:17 a.m. Police responded to a report of larceny/forgery/fraud at North End Motors Inc. on Turnpike Street. 

11:30 a.m. Police stopped a motor vehicle at Royall Street and Green Street. Warning and citation issued.

11:43 a.m. Police responded to a report of a weapons offense on Chapman Street.

11:56 a.m. Police responded to a report of larceny/forgery/fraud on Lawrence Street.

1 p.m. Police helped a person on Westdale Road and rendered services.

1:41 p.m. Police responded to a report of suspicious people at Canton Cooperative Bank on Washington Street and rendered services.
