3:35 a.m. Police assisted fire and medical personnel on York Street. A person was taken to the hospital.

9:09 a.m. Police assisted fire and medical personnel at Hellenic Nursing Home on Sherman Street.

9:52 a.m. Police provided traffic conrol on Messinger Street.

10:04 a.m. Police assisted fire and medical personnel on Lincoln Street. A person was taken to the hospital.

10:04 a.m. Police responded to a report of wires down on Elm Street at Pecunit Street.

10:08 a.m. Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Washington Street. Investigated.

10:12 a.m. Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Washington Street.

11:52 a.m. Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on North Street.

11:59 a.m. Police  responded to a animal complaint on Trayer Road.

2:27 p.m. Police responded to a report of malicious damage on Janice Road.

2:37 p.m. Police responded to a report of an assault on Maplecroft Road. Services rendered.

2:45 p.m. Police responded to a report of larceny/forgery/fraud at Canton Sportsplex on Carver Circle.

5:02 p.m. Police responded to a animal complaint on Burns Avenue. Services rendered.

6:04 p.m. Police responded to an abandoned 911 call on Washington Street. Accidental by home owner.

6:36 p.m. Police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Walpole Street and investigated.

6:49 p.m. Police responded to an abandoned 911 call at Towerhill Center For Health and Rehabilitation on Meadowbrook Way.

7:08 p.m. Police responded to a report of juvenile offenses on Washington Street.

7:18 p.m. Police responded to a report of larceny/forgery/fraud on Walpole Street and  issues summonses to Greggory Fiore, 44, of 946 Great Plain Ave., Neeham for larceny over $250 and malicious destruction of property over $250, and to Susan Leahy, 45, of 21 Algonquin Road, Canton for receiving stolen property over $250.

9:45 p.m. Police responded to a report of a disturbance on Lincoln Street and arrested Francis A. Leahy, 43, of 16 Williams St., Canton on charges of felony breaking and entering into a building at night and two counts of assault and battery.

10:45 p.m. Police responded to a burglar alarm on Colt Crossing Road. False alarm.

Tuesday, July 31

1:56 a.m. Police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Hagan Court. Unable to locate.

6:01 a.m. Police responded to a report of malicious damage on Meadows Avenue.

6:26 a.m. Police responded to a report of a  motor vehicle accident on Washington Street at Royall Street. Unable to locate.

7:02 a.m. Police responded to a burglar alarm on Evelyn Way. Accidental by home owner.

7:19 a.m. Police responded to a report of a disturbance on Washington Street. Gone upon arrival.

8:42 a.m. Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Street.

10:16 a.m. Police responded to a report of suspicious people on Turnpike Street.

11 a.m. Police stopped a motor vehicle on Washington Street at Hickory Lane.

12:39 p.m. Police responded to a burglar alarm on Country Lane. Building checked and secured.
