Canton Drunk Driver's BAC More Than 5 Times Legal Limit: Police
Police say Elizabeth Salah was driving with a BAC of .411.

JOHNSTON, MA — A Canton woman charged with drunken driving had a blood alcohol content level more than five times over the legal limit, police said.
Elizabeth Salah, 23, was arrested Wednesday by the Rhode Island State Police in Johnston and charged with driving with a blood alcohol content level over .15. In fact, her BAC was at .411, police said. The legal limit is .08.
According to awareawake.org, most people experience blackouts at .200, lose consciousness at .300, and some die at .400. A .450 reading is lethal for most people.

At 4:40 p.m. state police received several 911 calls for an erratic driver on Interstate 295 South. During a traffic stop near exit 6, police say Salah displayed signs of intoxication and failed all field sobriety tests administered at the scene.
Salah faces a fine of $500, 20-60 hours of community service, one year in jail, and a license suspension of 3-18 months.

She is due back in court April 6.
