Children dressed in pajamas and clinging to a favorite stuffed animal paraded Tuesday night into the Rodman Early Childhood Center for "Pajama Storytime" led by Marsha Wright or Miss Marsha, who works for Self Help and is a family educator.
Miss Marsha, wearing a white robe, led the children in songs and read many stories. It was a fun filled evening where the children also enjoyed making a few simple crafts and left with a book and a CD filled with songs. In addition parents received a packet of handouts with tips for developing good bedtime routines. And the whole evening was free of charge!
Wright will be hosting other programs at the Rodman Center. On May 17, 2012, she will be leading a class on understanding children's emotions.
