The Cape Cod Bear Makes Another Appearance

Environmental officials captured a black bear in Brookline this afternoon and have confirmed that it is the bear that spent time on The South Shore and the Cape this spring.

Massachusetts wildlife officials have confirmed that the today is the famous who traveled from the South Shore to Cape Cod a few weeks ago, according to andย The Boston Globe.

The bear hung out in backyards, feasting on birdseed and other goodies, in South Plymouth for at least a week before swimming across the Cape Cod Canal. Wildlife officials caught that bear after it roamed the Cape for weeks, moving it west and releasing it.

Based on the photos released by officials, it does not look like there is a definite match. In the photo, the Cape Cod Bear seems to have a longer snout than the Brookline Bear.
