A recent presentation described dam conditions, possible $2M restoration costs, likely federal and state grant funding, and what happens if the town chooses to do nothing. 
• 2026 Park Passport Challenge Encourages Exploration of DCR Parks (thequincysun.com) — Starting June 20, families can join DCR’s free Park Passport Challenge and collect stamps at 12 parks statewide, including Great Brook Farm State Park in Carlisle. A stamp box near the barn at 165 North Road lets locals earn prizes while exploring trails close to home and discovering other scenic Massachusetts parks through November 1.
