1. State Rep. Cataldo honors departing Select Board members (carlislemosquito.org) — Longtime Select Board members Barney Arnold and David Model have wrapped up their service to Carlisle, receiving formal legislative citations and heartfelt praise at their final meeting. State Rep. Simon Cataldo and Board Chair Scott Triola highlighted their financial stewardship, volunteer recruitment, and commitment to keeping Carlisle’s small-town government strong and well staffed.
   

2. Select Board May 26 shorts (carlislemosquito.org) — Carlisle’s Select Board is weighing whether to skip a fall Special Town Meeting while moving ahead on trail, cemetery, and facilities committee changes and a major Gleason Library renovation funding package. The board also approved sharing a part-time Building Commissioner with Lincoln, adopted updated personnel policies, and strengthened a town-wide Code of Conduct that applies to all Carlisle officials and volunteers.
   

3. School Committee sets aggressive interview schedule for interim supt. search (carlislemosquito.org) — Carlisle’s School Committee has relaunched its search for a one-year interim superintendent, setting an intensive interview and site-visit schedule from May 28 through June 11. Eight candidates, mostly retired superintendents, will be publicly interviewed, with opportunities for community comment before a final decision is expected June 11.
   

4. Concord-Carlisle School District (businessviewmagazine.com) — Concord-Carlisle schools, which serve Carlisle students, are emphasizing student well-being, inclusive special education, and future-ready skills through their Vision of a Graduate initiative. District leaders describe investments in facilities, technology, and mental health supports, while managing tight budgets and expanding academic, career, and technical pathways that shape daily experiences for Carlisle families.
