Charlestown Man Arrested While Toting Copper
Nicholas Golemme charged with posession of burglarious tools.

Officers arrested a Charlestown man last week and charged him with possession of burglarious tools after a detective spotted him with a copper pipe jutting from his backpack.
According to a police report, a detective parked on Monument Square around 2 p.m. on Friday, April 6 saw Nicholas Golemme walk by “with a copper drain pipe sticking out of his backpack.”
After speaking the Golemme, officers found two more copper drain sections and a Blue Ray player in his backpack along with a tool for prying and cutting as well as black gloves and a small pail.

Golemme told officers he found the copper in a dumpster and found the Blue Ray player on the sidewalk.
As a result of the incident, officers charged Golemme with possession of burglarious tools and receiving stolen property.
